80th Birthday Reunion Cruise of 2016

This cruise was planned to observe the fact that most of the survivors of the SPHS Class of 1954  were having their 80th birthday this year! The cruise ship selected was Royal Caribbean's Brilliance of the Seas. It sails from Tampa, principally on four-day cruises to Cozumel, Mexico. This particular sailing, April 22 - April 26, was the last Caribbean cruise of the winter season from Tampa. The ship has since transitioned to Europe for the summer cruise season, returning to Tampa in late October.

Capacity of the ship is 2500 passengers, with a crew of about 900. Our class obtained a group rate, as we had 30 people.  Here is a group photo taken at a private cocktail party given by the ship in honor of our group.
